June 17, 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the break-in that began the Watergate scandal. The initial arrests led to the discovery of a widening circle of wrongdoing that eventually brought down a president. Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, two junior Washington Post reporters at the time, helped uncover the story of Richard Nixon’s attempt to undermine democracy. With Donald Trump’s actions now in the spotlight, Woodward and Bernstein join Walter to reflect on Watergate and its relevance today.
