Swift Ghost Moth

The moth is known from Queensland and NSW. Wingspan ranges from 80-100 mm. The moth has no proboscis since it does not feed and may only last a day. The markings on the fore wing look like wood block shapes as if covered by a green glaze, reminiscent of holding a beautiful Chinese bowl to the light.
