San Diego: Suspected DUI Hit & Run Driver Arrested 11142020 1

The suspect’s car hit the center divider wall and went back into the traffic and hit another vehicle. Both vehicles pulled to the right shoulder and then the female driver of the suspect car fled the scene, exiting onto Federal Blvd.
The CHP arrived and took a report of the non-injury hit & run accident.

Approx 40 minutes later, the CHP responded to a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s car and it was parked on Kelton Rd & Bayview Heights way. The car was heavily damaged. The CHP officers found the female driver still inside of the car and she was bleeding from the head.
She told the officers she did not know how she had crashed, nor where she had crashed.

The suspect did not want to go to the hospital. The suspect was failing her field sobriety test and refused to continue and requested that they take her blood for testing. She was transported to a local hospital for that test.
