Jan Peerce - I'm Always Chasing Rainbows (1964)

Based on Fantaisie Impromptu by Chopin. The song was adapted from this classical piece and introduced in the 1918 Broadway musical, "Oh, Look!" sung by the Dolly Sisters. Lyrics by Joseph McCarthy. The original hit version in 1918 was by Charles Harrison. In the 1940's, the song enjoyed a revival with hit versions by Perry Como, Helen Forrest and Dick Haymes and by the Harry James orchestra. Released on the 1964 album, "Favorites 'Til The End Of Time".
