Erica Kirk's call for empathy around political violence is not wrong on its face. But the credibility of that message collapses when placed next to Charlie Kirk's own response to the hammer attack on Paul Pelosi — where he suggested bailing out the attacker would make someone a "midterm hero," questioned why the attacker was still in jail, and deflected responsibility entirely. If the standard for decency around political violence only applies to one side, it isn't a standard at all. This video lays the two positions side by side and lets them speak for themselves.
