4K - GO and VIA Train Action on the Lakeshore West (Oakville Subdivision)

The Oakville Subdivision is known for being one of the busiest rail corridors in Canada and North America. Once owned by the Canadian National Railway, Metrolinx owns the line now and runs a record number of GO Trains, and also VIA Rail Canada trains. CN Freight Trains still run on the far Western end of the line.

I focused most of my attention in the Sunnyside area, between the Exhibition and Mimico GO stations during the morning rush hour. Not only do regularly scheduled GO and VIA trains traverse the line at this hour, but deadheads from the TMC and Willowbrook Matienence Center's pass through here, heading to/from Union Station. VIA's Canadian train also made an appearance, 12+ hours late!

Also threw in some various clips from down the line at Long Branch and Burlington GO stations, as well as some action from the CN Halton Subdivision at the Brampton GO Station.

All locations listed in video.

Thanks for watching!
