Los Estudiantes. Precursores del Rock & Roll en España, 1957.

El grupo de rock Los Estudiantes se forma en 1955 de forma amateur hasta su consolidación en 1957. Su formación clásica estuvo integrada por J. Alberto Gonsálvez, Fernando Arbex, su hermano Luis y J. L. Palacios (ambos guitarras), el fundador y voz principal fue José Barranco.
Se les considera el primer grupo español de Rock & Roll por la fecha de su aparición y por sus grabaciones discográficas.
Participaron en programas de TV, en varias películas y en las famosas "Matinales del Price" ademas de grabar 3 EPs. El grupo se disuelve en 1964 cuando Arbex y González parten para forman Los Brincos.

The group was formed in 1955 in an amateur way until its consolidation in 1957. Its classical formation was made up of J. Alberto Gonsálvez, Fernando Arbex, his brother Luis and J. L. Palacios (both guitars), the founder and main voice was José Barranco.
They are considered the first Spanish Rock & Roll group for their appearance and recording.
They participated in TV programs, in several movies and in the famous "Matinales del Price" in addition to recording 3 EPs. The group dissolved in 1964 when Arbex and González formed Los Brincos.
