Witnessing Jonestown at the End: Clifton James

Clifton James lived in Port Kaituma, Guyana, a short walk from an airstrip where U.S. Congressman Leo Ryan and others were murdered in November 1978. The largest mass murder-suicide in modern history soon followed in Jonestown--a community of the Peoples Temple led by Jim Jones--not far away. Clifton had visited Jonestown six days before. The discussion was recorded as part of the "Military Response to Jonestown" project. https://www.militaryresponsetojonestown.com/
Anyone with any direct or indirect link to Peoples Temple and/or Jonestown is invited to contact pjones@jbu.edu
