Child pushed out of stolen car during terrifying police chase in Tameside

This shocking incident was captured on the dash-cam of an unmarked police car as it pursued a Ford Kuga through a housing estate in Hattersley at speeds of up to 61 mph.

The chase started after officers were alerted to a "thieves on" report in the early hours in Dukinfield.

As a pursuit zig-zagged through back streets on a housing estate the Ford slowed down.

The officers assumed the driver was about to give up, but were then stunned by what happened next.
