Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 VS Hilleberg Allak 2 Review, Is it better? Why the £1000 price gap?

Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 rip off of the Hilleberg Allak 2? We will see!

Today we are looking at two tents with very different price points but from a far and on paper look very similar. So why is there almost a £1000 price gap?

From the outside, they both look like similar but when you start to look more closely you start seeing all the differences.

When we go into the Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 you can see that there is limited options to how you can have the tent set up with only half mesh being that option. All the zips and tie offs to hold doors and other bits feel much cheaper and not as well made. The floor is not as thick therefore feels colder inside. The outside doesn't go all the way to the floor so this is not a true 4 season tent like it is advertised.

Inside the Hilleberg Allak 2, there are a number of ways how you can set the tent up for winter camping or summer camping it can do it all. with the outside going all the way to the floor this is a true 4 season tent. It has stronger and more robust materials making this tent what we like to call "boomproof".

Overall these are both really good tents one is the best you can buy and the other is cheap but gets the job done. Personally I think the Hilleberg Allak 2 is overpriced but wouldn't say no to having one haha but the Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 in my opinion is the best of both worlds cheap but still has some of the qualities that make the Hilleberg Allak 2 a great tent.
