Talking about Temperature in American English
Here are some tips for speaking better English when talking about temperatures in the US. In the US, you should use Fahrenheit instead of Celsius.
But how much is 0 degrees Celsius in Fahrenheit? Or 100 degrees Celsius? Use this table to convert between the two:
Temperature in Fahrenheit = 1.8 x Celsius + 32
0 degrees Celsius = 32 degrees Fahrenheit
10 degrees Celsius = 50 degrees Fahrenheit
20 degrees Celsius = 68 degrees Fahrenheit
30 degrees Celsius = 86 degrees Fahrenheit
