SCARY Drive on Independence Pass & A Day in Aspen, Colorado

Day 13 of the Pandemic Road Trip finds us driving is one of the most dangerous roads in the state of Colorado. Join us as we drive Independence Pass through a rainstorm and enjoy a day of hiking in Aspen.

The summit of Independence Pass is 18 miles west of Twin Lakes and 19 miles east of Aspen. It winds through the San Isabel National Forest and White River National Forest and crosses the Continental Divide over the Sawatch Range.
