Tohoku Preps for Disaster with EVs
Sendai, Japan is home to the International Research Institute of Disaster Science (IRIDeS) at Tohoku University. IRIDeS recently conducted a preparatory simulation drill using electric vehicles and portable batteries as key mobile power supply units, factoring an EV strategy as part of their operational contingency plans.
