"Tulad Lang Lawin" (Awit ni Isagani)

In 1991 I was fortunate to have been cast in National Artist Ryan Cayabyab's musical "El Fili" based on our National Hero Jose Rizal's "El Filibusterismo." I originated the role of the young Isagani who had this beautiful song about idealism "Awit ni Isagani." Decades later I recorded the song for my all theatre songs album "Playlist" (check out Spotify).

I dedicate this rendition to commemorate President Noynoy Aquino's 40th day. He, his father Ninoy and mother Cory, like Rizal are heroes.
