Mosaic Array and McMaster University: Scaled 3D Printing for Educational Institutions

Mosaic and McMaster University came together to implement Array, a 3D printing solution for McMaster’s Engineering faculty to allow for rapid prototyping and increased iteration cycles, benefitting student learning and increasing efficiency for the mechanical engineering faculty.

Array is a cost effective solution for McMaster allowing for professors and students to undertake projects with additional design iterations within a tight timeline.

With automated bed changes and an integrated storage cart allowing for a continuous run time of over 72 hours with no operator intervention, this freed up faculty members to contribute to students in other meaningful ways.

By adopting Mosaic’s Array, McMaster University is able to enrich the learning experiences of their students by harnessing additive manufacturing at scale.
