The Caiyuanba Yangtze River Bridge is a cross-river passage connecting Yuzhong District and Nan'an District in Chongqing, China. It is located on the Yangtze River and is a component of the main urban road in the northern part of Chongqing.
The construction of the Caiyuanba Yangtze River Bridge started on December 28, 2003; the closure was completed on December 31, 2006; and it was opened to traffic on October 19, 2007.
The Caiyuanba Bridge starts from the Xiangyang Tunnel in the north, crosses the Yangtze River waterway, and reaches the Dashi Interchange in the south; the length of the line is 7 kilometers, and the main bridge is 800 meters long; the upper deck is a two-way six-lane urban expressway, with a design speed of 60 kilometers per hour The lower level is dual-track urban transportation with a design speed of 75 kilometers per hour.
