"Morphing Time" with Morphagene, MultiMod, and Electric Guitar #music #experimentalmusic #guitar

Hello! My name is Paul Harry Holmes, I'm an independent artist/music creator based out of Connecticut, United States. I create all the artwork and music videos myself.

Here's an improvisation, experimental session where I previously recorded some electric guitar sounds into the Morphagene module from Make Noise Music. Then I sent the signal into the MultiMod to duplicate/multiply the sounds. During the video I'm adjusting the morph, slide, and gene-size settings on the Morphagene to zoom in on specific sounds. I'm also using the "hold" function on the Multimod to momentarily freeze the sound, while experimenting with the spread and time settings.

The original guitar sounds quickly morphed into a strange percussive creation, so I added some acoustic drums from EZdrummer, and electronic drums from the Roland TR-8 to bind it all together. Plus most things usually sound better with drums.

I hope you enjoy the experimental sounds 🎚🎸🥁🎛♥️
