Haryana makes wearing masks mandatory in large gatherings as Covid cases spike #breakingnews

Haryana has become the first state in the country to reintroduce the mask advisory as the number of Covid-19 cases in the state has begun to rise again. The Haryana health minister, Anil Vij, called for adherence to Covid protocols and asked people to wear masks in large gatherings, especially those where the numbers exceed 100.

The decision comes as the state government prepares to tackle the potential spike in Covid cases. Vij said that the government has taken all necessary steps to ensure the safety of its citizens and urged the public to follow Covid-appropriate behaviour. He also stated that the state has increased its testing capacity and has enough oxygen and other medical equipment to handle any situation that may arise.

The move comes as the number of Covid-19 cases in the state has started to increase once again. The state recorded 216 new cases on Sunday, taking the total number of active cases to 1,527. The state has also reported 1,002 deaths since the pandemic began.

The government has also taken several other measures to prevent the spread of the virus, including setting up Covid care centres and providing free testing and treatment to those who need it. The state has also set up vaccination centres across the state and is urging people to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

The Haryana government has been praised for its efforts in managing the pandemic so far. The state was one of the first in the country to impose a lockdown when the pandemic began last year and has been proactive in its efforts to contain the spread of the virus. The government has also provided financial assistance to those who have been affected by the pandemic and has set up a helpline for people to seek assistance.

The move to reintroduce the mask advisory comes as other states in the country are also reporting an increase in Covid-19 cases. Maharashtra, Punjab, and Karnataka are among the states that have reported a surge in cases in recent weeks.

The Indian government has also urged people to follow Covid-appropriate behaviour, including wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, and washing hands regularly. The government has also launched a massive vaccination drive and is urging people to get vaccinated as soon as possible to protect themselves and others from the virus.

In conclusion, the reintroduction of the mask advisory in Haryana is a proactive step taken by the state government to prevent the spread of the virus. The government's efforts in managing the pandemic so far have been lauded, and it is hoped that these measures will continue to keep the people of the state safe.
