It might not seem major global news that Ethiopia is currently building a dam across the Nile, a dam they hope will solve the country's issue relating to water, electricity supply, and trade. The issue is that neighbouring countries aren't happy, most notably downstream Egypt. Despite attempts at mediation from the US, talks have collapsed and some speculate that things could turn nasty with threats to bomb the dam. In this video, we discuss what's happening and the implications on the world.
