Ice Agents Break The Law, Arrest Two Parents At Pre-School Graduation Ceremony, Leaving Terrified Ch

Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested two parents outside a Baltimore preschool graduation in an incident on school property witnessed by families. Video from Commodore John Rodgers Elementary School shows ICE arrests in Baltimore as agents detain a man and a woman in the parking lot. Witnesses reported children screaming during the preschool graduation arrest, while officials said the pair had driven onto campus during an ICE pursuit.

Maryland Senate President Bill Ferguson and Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott criticized the arrests; Governor Wes Moore said schools should be safe spaces. Baltimore recently passed emergency legislation limiting arrests at sensitive locations, including schools. Graduation activities continued, and authorities are working to determine what happened. Identities have not been released.
