( Capitol Records-5093 ) The Honeys formed in 1962. They were named after a slang term for a female surfing enthusiast. Group members were sisters Marilyn and Diane Rovell and their cousin Ginger Blake.These girls were like a female version of The Beach Boys. Brian Wilson was their record producer and chief song writer. He also arranged this song. Brian married Marilyn (Marilyn Wilson-Rutherford ) in 1964 and he had two children with her. The Honeys also sang background vocals for Jan and Dean.
