President Signs Stimulus Bill: $600 Stimulus Checks, $300 Unemployment Boost, PUA & PEUC Extended

President Donald Trump has signed the new stimulus bill that includes a $600 stimulus check, a $300 weekly unemployment boost that lasts 11 weeks through March 14th and both PUA unemployment and the PEUC extension get 11 more weeks of benefits. Here in California, our unemployment office the CA EDD has begun as many updates to their computer program as possible so hopefully there is very little delay in receiving your benefits. They are waiting on guidance from the DOL as to how to implement everything.
There is a PUA extension! They have added 11 additional weeks of PUA unemployment benefits from 12/27 - 3/14 and can now get up to 57 weeks of PUA benefits. If you have not used all 57 weeks of PUA benefits you can continue to draw down your claim balance through April 5th. They have added 11 additional weeks to the PEUC extension that will start on 12/27 and end on 3/14 for a total of 24 weeks. If you have not used all 24 weeks of your PEUC extension by 3/14 you can continue to draw down your claim balance through April 5th.
All unemployment claims are eligible for the extra $300 weekly unemployment boost, there is no minimum weekly benefit amount or any requirements to be eligible for to get this $300!
