Al Stewart - Waiting For Margaux (Early Studio Demo)

This is an early studio demo version of the song that would eventually appear on Al Stewart's "Down In The Cellar" wine concept album. Please note that Al is experimenting with words, syllables, and lyrical content, and had yet to develop the verses that would tell the story of that registered Republican with a bitter chocolate mind. This slide show video is set to the rococo paintings of French painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard.
