The Ayahuasca Foundation: Logistics, retreat center, operations

The Riosbo Retreat & Research Center is nestled in the Allpahuayo-Mishana National Reserve, along the Nanay River. Offering top-notch comfort in a stunning jungle setting, the center is staffed mostly by members of the nearby Mishana community. With breathtaking river views and 30-year-old ayahuasca vines on the property, it’s an ideal place to explore the healing powers of ayahuasca and plant medicine.

The center has eight guest rooms, each with a private bathroom. Rooms are booked as single occupancy, but can be shared with a friend or family member. Each bathroom includes a sink, flushing toilet, and a shower with hot and cold water. Rooms are fully screened with electricity, fans, lights, and multiple outlets. They open to a shared balcony overlooking the river, with private meditation areas facing the jungle.
