Giga Berlin | 2022-07-23 | Upgrades Completed

According to media reports the upgrades of Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg have been completed on schedule.

Trial production to test the new processes have already started. According to the report Tesla already produced a Model Y with a single-piece front casting made at Giga Berlin, a Model Y with single motor Rear-Wheel Drive and a Model Y with white interior.

A Model Y with structural pack and 4680 has also been produced with some parts imported from Texas and the paint shop started painting test vehicles in Mercury Silver Metallic and Deep Crimson Multicoat.
