Recovery after cardiac surgery is always very challenging, In this lecture, Prof Amr Abdelmonem elaborates on different approaches for ERAS, enhanced recovery after cardiac surgery, and how nutritional support can contribute to this technique. It is about 35 minutes lecture, very fascinating, well-illustrated, and evidence-based medicine.
This lecture is one of the series of scientific activities of the anaesthesia department in Cairo University in a collaboration with the mega online course to help and update the anaesthesiologists in training during the COVID-19 pandemic.
