As artificial intelligence becomes an integral part of modern embedded systems, engineers face new challenges in communicating exactly what AI does within those solutions. The key question of how engineers explain to the customer where AI is embedded into a Solution, what it does and how we trust the outputs. As AI begins to permeate systems the description and integration of AI from design conception to delivery of a complex solution is an emerging challenge. Designing a system with embedded requires the bridging of the technical language gap between traditional embedded systems and rapidly evolving AI technologies. We will look some of the approaches to describe and capture design of systems in complex embedded military systems.
