what it's really like being an indie artist (vlog)

I genuinely feel strongly about these topics. Many of these things I was already doing from a young age, but I stopped doing them because I felt I needed to have that “major label artist” level of content. I wish someone would have told me, “hey, I think it’s really cool you edit your own music videos on iMovie and produce your own songs on GarageBand. But let’s see if we can teach you how to level up your editing capabilities.” (Now I use Premiere Pro and am just now converting to Logic lol) I really believe that would’ve saved me a lot of money and frustration lol I am still learning and am in no way saying I’m the best there is at editing. Really, I just want to save any other artists out there from making the same mistakes I did. Because, let’s face it, most of us don’t have medium-sized to major label-sized budgets to work with. And that’s okay. We’ve gotta show we have the drive and discipline before anyone else is gonna believe in what we do! 🔮💜🔮
