Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 New VS Old 116000 VS 126000 Black Dial

A side-by-side comparison video of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 116000 and the successor Oyster Perpetual 126000.

The 116000 was discontinued in 2020 in favor of the new reference 126000. The watches are very similar but the new 126000 has a number of subtle yet important differences.
The new 126000 is powered by the caliber 3230, whereas the predecessor has the caliber 3130. The new watch also has slightly slimmer lugs and a reworked case.
