5.56mm NATO Green Tip: 200 Yd Accuracy and "Steel Punch"

Working with a 16" barrel AR15, shooting the 62 gr 5.56mm NATO Green Tip, M855, at 200 yards. The FMJ bullet has a lead core but steel penetrator at the tip. Video shows some accuracy groups, with objective of eventually hitting a 4" steel plate, 1/4" thick, at 200 yards and getting a pass through.

Ammo is military surplus 5.56mm, Lake City 2005 production date. Rifle is a Bushmaster lower receiver, Rock River Arms upper with 16" barrel, 1:9 twist. I'm using an EoTech 516, no magnification. Target is IPSC, 18"x24", AR500 from Mike Gibson Targets. The clamps are from Lowes :-) .
