Anyone can memorize ISO controls. But real GRC work? It's about having the technical depth to influence your dev teams, and the business acumen to get buy-in from your CTO. Try explaining secure SDLC when you can't discuss how code moves from repository to production - now imagine doing that in a 10,000 releases/year environment. Our job is to abstract the complexity of the frameworks, not transfer it. If we're just transferring it to engineers, we're parrots, and parroting is what we have ChatGPT for. #shorts
