Solomon could talk to ants? Scientific Miracles of the Quran EP.13

In this episode, we delve into the Quranic claim found in Surah 27:18-19 where we find Solomon asking Allah for the gift of communicating with animals.
The problem is, how was Solomon able to hear the ants speak? Considering the fact that they do not communicate with noise but with their antennae?
More to the point, nowhere in the Old Testament does it ever talk about God gifting someone with the ability to speak to animals.
As we move through this claim, we find that there could be a strong possibility of this story of Solomon being borrowed from a much earlier 2nd century AD source.
