Teaching Space With NASA - Engineering the Deep Space Network
In this one-hour education webinar, NASA experts will discuss how we communicate with spacecraft using the Deep Space Network, a system of massive antennas stationed around the world. Join NASA-JPL engineer Bernardo Lopez and education specialist Brandon Rodriguez for a presentation about the science and engineering behind the Deep Space Network and the future of spacecraft communications.
The live broadcast will also include a Q&A for registered participants. All audiences are welcome. The presentation will conclude with a short discussion for educators about how the content aligns with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and related educational resources from NASA.
