Yocheved was the eldest daughter of Rabbi Shlomo Yitshaki, one of the greatest scholars of medieval Jewish history. Although much of her life is shrouded in mystery, this lecture discusses some aspects relevant to the larger question of women in medieval Ashkenaz. Lecture delivered by Dr. Henry Abramson
