Rock Fishing North New Zealand!

After some epic fishing up North we decided to give it one more go before heading south. After looking at google maps we followed a dirt road which led us to a nice looking bay. After setting up camp we wasted no time, packed the fishing gear and started making our way out to the headland. After about an hour with no bites we wanted to walk around abit further to see if the next ledge was any better, First cast we both caught a kahawai, and the next and the next haha. Unfortunately thats all we caught and with no bait or livey hooks with us the novelty of catching the same species over and over soon wore off. We had an amazing time exploring the northern tip of new zealand and decided it was time to head inland in search of some trout.
