Here are 5 rules to get it done right. #wigtutorial #wigmaker #wigclass

Stop dropping thin units. If you want to take a 200 percent density wig up to a 400 percent density masterpiece, you need to know how to handle double tracks on your sewing machine.

Here are 5 rules to get it done right.
▪️ 1. Always use an open presser foot
This gives you clear visibility so you can see exactly where your needle is hitting the wefts as you sew.

▪️ 2. Stitch the wefts together
Before you even attach them to the cap, sew those two tracks together first. It makes handling the double density way easier.

▪️ 3. Space them an inch apart
When you place the tracks on the cap, place them about an inch apart. Since the tracks are doubled, you get maximum fullness without creating bulky humps.

▪️ 4. Always use polyester thread
Polyester thread is non-negotiable. It has the strength and durability to hold the extra weight of double tracks without snapping.

▪️ 5. Let the machine do its job
Do not pull or push the wefts under the needle and presser foot. You can jam your machine and break your needle this way. Just guide the fabric and let the machine work.
