The Mesozoic European continent was a series of islands and detached landmasses that provided isolated evolutionary populations of distinct dinosaurs, brimming with diversity. John Hammond and Ingen had planned to expand Jurassic Park into Europe on an island in the Azores, but ultimately as Isla Nublar failed this dream also fell short.
