Charging per hour does not make sense, you should be charging per task, product or service. Especially if you are really good at what you do.

Most people prefer to pay $300 to get the result they are looking for in 1 hour, than to get that same result in 6 for the same cost. Charging at an hourly rate not only costs them more time, but punishes you for being faster/better than competitors.
