DIY Fairy House - Part 3 of 3 - Making the roof tiles, chimney, faux wood and stone details and painting. Hi this is the last step of my new fairy house project. In this video I'll show you how I made the tiles, the details and painting of the fairy house. I first drew the tiles on my roof and I carved the styrofoam using a cutter. I made the chimney out of the same material and glued it to the roof. I painted the whole thing white so the colors of the house will have a white base and will be light, beautiful colors (this is a great way if you need to paint beautiful colors on a dark surface). I also made some stones and wood details out of styrofoam. The details on the wood I made using a ballpen. I colored the whole thing using acrylic paint.
