Blue 'sprites' and 'elves': NASA investigates flashes that appear above storms on Jupiter

NASA's Juno captured electric blue 'sprites' and 'elves' dancing in Jupiter's atmosphere. These objects occur on Earth, but this is the first time they have been observed on another world.
