Elvis Presley, upon returning to the Live Stage in 1969, was anxious on how people would perceive him, and had a lot of nervous energy on stage. This is certainly shown on the new 3CD Set by Memphis Recording Service, From which CD1 has a complete concert from an early 1969 concert.
Believed to be The August 3rd, Dinner Show, It is the FIRST recorded version of the song from 1969. Elvis sits down with his beautiful Gretsch guitar and plays some blues licks, while his band follows.
