Getting the Herreshoff 12 1/2 'Rhode Island Red' ready for another season in the water, Lou shows us his method of scraping the varnish flat with a razor blade before sanding in order to keep as much varnish on the boat as possible. In Part 2 the prep work will be finished and Lou will demonstrate how to apply varnish.
