Several Tory MPs that are standing down before the next election have secured job contracts worth millions of pounds, while also taking all-expenses-paid trips funded by the government, the Observer has revealed.

64 Conservative MPs and four independent MPs (who lost the Tory whip) are planning to stand down at the next election ahead of a predicted wipeout for their party.
