In 79 A.D. Mount Vesuvius erupted and laid waste to many towns around the Bay of Naples. The most famous one being Pompeii. However, in this video we will visit the smaller town Herculaneum that, under the volcanic ashes, soot and rubble, is so well preserved that brilliant frescoes, and two story-houses with intact ceilings greet you as you walk the 2000 year old streets.
