Artemis II crew 'deactivates toilet' aboard Integrity before space capsule's splashdown

Artemis II is on its way back to Earth, marking a historic moment as the first crewed mission of NASA’s Artemis program to travel beyond low Earth orbit. Ahead of the Integrity spacecraft's splashdown, the crew in the capsule deactivated the toltoiletiet as the moved closer to re-entry to Earth.

The Orion capsule is due Friday, April 10, to reenter Earth's atmosphere following their moon mission in a water landing around 8:07 p.m. ET in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego, California.
