Torremolinos Spain Beach Walk Playa El Bajondillo August 2021 Summer Costa del Sol | Málaga [4K UHD]

An essential symbol of Torremolinos, El Bajondillo remains authentic and traditional. The essence of this maritime town draws breath in this old neighborhood until today. El Bajondillo has one of the town's best beaches. A walk through the town is a great way to explore and discover the history of the area, with every path leading to the sea.

It is one of the busiest beaches in Torremolinos, found between Carihuela and Playamar beaches. Easily accessible form the town center through several streets and stairs, most famously konwn as Paseo de la Playa. El Bajondillo beach can also be reached from the famous Cuesta del Tajo, filled with art, souvenir and handicraft shops. From Calle San Miguel you'll be able to see the icon of Torremolinos, the Torre Pimentel, a ruin of one of the mills that still remain.

El Bajondillo offers so many facilities and equipment from the public, there are public toilets and shower area, hammocks and parasols for rent, different water sports activities are also available in the area at a certain price. Nearby beach bars or "chiringuitos", and restaurants can be found along the long promenade offering a variety of local cuisines! Don't miss the opportunity of trying one of the sardines on sticks "espetos" or fried fish "pescaíto frito".
