Trump blamed for everything as Democrats ‘revel in American dysfunction’

Sky News host Chris Kenny says the hatred, divisions and the blame levelled against US President Donald Trump have been on show at the Democratic Convention which got underway in Milwaukee.

The Democratic Convention – held online this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, began on Monday (local time).

A focus on the convention is being placed on how presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden, and his running mate Kamala Harris, can reunite facets of a divided America.

“The hatred, the divisions and the blame are absolutely dominant at this convention already.

"This contest is as unattractive as politics gets.

"On one side the Biden camp are revelling in American dysfunction and blaming it all on Trump ... for his part, Trump has presided over this trauma but promises to fix it".
