The Only 7 Investments Books You Need to Read

We all have someone that we admire, and when it comes to investing those people for me are Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger, and Peter Lynch ( in that order ). They all amazing records when it comes to investing. They all have their favorite books, their favorite teachers and even their types of stocks.

When I crave most is to know what they know, to be able to look at a company and understand its value, does it make sense to buy or doesn’t make it sense to buy. Obviously, the best way to get good at this is to start reading some investments books. So in this video, I’m going to give my Top 7 investments books for beginners. But before I do I want you to watch this 15second clip. “ how to become good at investing you’re going to have to make it apart of your life and read a lot, not just 7 books”

So I’m not here for the click-bait, where I tell you read this and you are a professional. But I’m telling you read this and you’ll be better than 80% of the people out their, but the gap is massive between the top 10%, so there’s a lot of work to be done and lessons to learn.

The all time best book on investing is this one, “ Security and Analysis “, but picture you giving your 3 years old a book on quantum mechanics, to me that’s this book. I read, and walk away with a headache, feels like your reading a different language. So I don’t recommend this book, until you have read the 7 books I’m going to recommend in this video. Because those books are easy to understand, and slowly build up to being a little more complex.

Where he gives you different ways to go about picking stocks and understanding the basics of this game

3. Random walk down Wall Street by Burton Malkiel

What to Expect:
All the reasons you shouldn't pick stocks
What you should do instead
How to get rich without picking stocks
Including all the data behind it



4. The little book about common sense investing John C Bogle

Tip: Today I have $12,800 in passive income, Paid of home, No Debt and fully funded Emergency Fund

And since my expenses are so low, I can take half my money and start picking stocks and use the other half to build up to my Passive income Goal



5. Intelligent investor by Benjamin Graham

This book contains formulas on investing

Ideas about picking stocks

How to calculate the value of the stocks and even read the balance sheet a little

6. Common Stocks and Uncommon Wealth Philip fisher

This book is more about the intangible things to look at when picking a stocks

Things like management, competition, competitive advantage and I think in total about 15 factors to look at

7. Value investing from Graham to Buffet – Bruce

Now this books takes almost everything together and forms a more comprehensive work

But you can tell it was writing by a professors

So its a lot more formulas and cool ideas
