2014 Volkswagen Jetta Front Door Not Locking Not Closing Power Doors dome light flashing

Seems to be a common problem. The door lock malfunctions and won't allow you to either open or lock the door closed. Might be why there are so many revisions on the same door latch lock..the dome lamp switch is part of the whole lock assy too...you will need the triple square tool for those 2 screws..I'm sure some people can fugazi a tool or something but it could also strip or ruin the screws to go back on.
