The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) released video it said showed strikes on Iranian coastal surveillance radar sites in Goruk and on Qeshm Island following the interception of multiple drones and ballistic missiles allegedly launched by Iran. According to CENTCOM, the drones posed an "immediate threat" to maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, prompting retaliatory strikes aimed at preventing further attacks. The command said U.S. and allied air defenses intercepted most incoming threats, while Iran's Revolutionary Guard claimed the launches were in response to recent American military actions in the region.
